Bizarre ‘double banana’ found inside a single skin

It turns out there is such a thing as double bananas – and this man has proof.

Richard Preece, 33, found the extremely rare fruit in a bunch of bananas he had bought in his weekly shop in Asda.

The father-of-three – who has completed charity fun runs dressed as Bananaman – was a little shocked at the bizarre discovery. His wife, Samantha, said: ‘It is the most bizarre coincidence.
‘It was just in a bunch of ordinary bananas so it was a bit of a shock.

‘When Sam opened it up none of us could quite believe it. I never even knew that you could get double bananas.

‘I showed my kids and they were quite amazed as they had never seen anything like it before.
‘When I put it on Facebook I wasn’t expecting the reaction that I got with the amount of innuendos and other implications people were commenting.’

In case you were wondering, the double banana tasted no different to an ordinary one, according to children Beatrice, nine, and Felix, six.

‘I thought my days running as a Bananaman were long behind me, but this has changed things,’ Richard said.
‘This discovery has convinced me that I should really consider doing it again this year.
‘It’s just too strange not to be some sort of sign.’

A TOILET in London has been put up for rent for £3,000 a month

Hampstead Heath lavatory is up for sale or rent, with the owner hoping the bottom doesn't fall out of the market.

A toilet in the posh London surburb of Highgate has been put up for rent at £3,000 a month. The owner, builder James Atherton is looking to rent or sell the unusual piece of real estate - a stand alone loo he owns inside a block of flats at the bottom of Highgate West Hill.

It is by a bus turnaround point and next to the bottom of Hampstead Heath. The facility is being promoted with a sign on the wall offering a "toilet space", hoping to catch the attention of bus drivers who need stop to relieve themselves at Parliament Hill Fields.

Mr Atherton also predicted a surge in interest if Camden Council follows through with its controversial plans to close the public toilets in Pond Square in Highgate village and the Victorian toilets at the entrance to Hampstead Heath were demolished in the 1990s.

Mr Atherton's toilet has been left unused for many years but is in good condition, according to the vendor, and could also double-up as a storage room.

It is up for rent at an asking price of £3,000 a month but Mr Atherton said he would also consider selling a 20-year lease for £20,000.- mirror

Women are putting cannabis inside their vaginas - here's why

The new tampon-sized pill is made from a mixture of cannabidiol and cocoa butter infused with THC - the active ingredient in marijuana.
Cannabis

A revolutionary capsule dubbed the world's first weed-infused vagina pill has been released to help stop period pains. The new tampon-sized pill is part of a bizarre modern trend of women placing items such as herb balls and Japanese vagina sticks into their private parts.

Made from a mixture of cannabidiol and cocoa butter infused with THC (the hallucinogenic chemical found in the class B drug), the 'Foria Relief' pill has been created to "maximise muscle relaxing and pain relieving."

But its creators Foria say it will not get you high. The company have previously released a cannabis infused lubrication product to "increase female sexual pleasure".

Founder Mathew Gerson said: “This plant medicine has a long, cross-cultural history of use as a natural aide in easing symptoms associated with menstruation.

“The pelvic region contains more cannabinoid receptors than any other part of the body except for the brain.

“So delivering these actives in a suppository format is a natural choice.”

Considering that side effects are reportedly minimal, the 84% of women who experience cramps and pains during their period may eagerly turn to this modern solution.

Unfortunately for women in the UK, the pills can only be bought if one lives in the 23 states of the US where marijuana has been legalised for medical purposes. The tablets are priced at £30 for four capsules and require the buyer to have a medical marijuana card.

It is unlikely that the pain relief solution will reach British shores any time soon as the UK government continues to ignore the supposed medicinal benefits of marijuana.

A petition with over 200,000 signatures called on the government to legalise marijuana last year.

The petition was slammed in parliamentary debate and prompted the government to label the use of cannabis as "a significant public health issue." - mirror
