Bizarre wedding as couple's four dogs take centre stage on the big day

When generous Louise Harris and scrimper Daniel Hill’s wedding went to the dogs they couldn’t be happier.

Most brides hate to be upstaged but the Sunday People can reveal how Louise insisted a quartet of four ruff guests attended her marriage to make it her yappiest day.

Louise, 33, was adamant that her four Yorkshire terriers had to see her tie the knot with penny-pinching presenter Daniel Hill, 31, from Channel 4’s SuperScrimpers.

And true to form, spendaholic Louise, boss of a pooch pampering business, did not scrimp on doggie treats for Lola, aged nine, Lulu, six, Lolly and Larry, both four – nearly £8,000 on goodies such as chicken broth beer, stock cocktails and liver cake topped with flowers.

Each dog wore outfits for Louise’s nuptials, with “page boy” Larry in a purple bow tie and morning suite and Lulu, Lolly and “chief bridesmaid” Lola in matching green.

They were dressed to the canines and escorted down the aisle by four of the bride’s friends. Louise said: “For me it was important the dogs were included in my big day and had everything they needed. Their two nannies were flown in from Spain and there was a doggie day-crèche because weddings can get a bit boring and I didn’t want the dogs sitting around with nothing to do.

“The weather was quite warm so there were paddling pools, toys and each dog had a four- poster bed in a chill out area.

“I also shipped in about £350 worth of doggie treats.

“The ice cream man was paid extra to make a selection of mini cones so the dogs could have ice creams at the same time as my guests.”

Louise, who had considered a mansion in Tuscany for her wedding, finally picked Woodhall Manor in Suffolk for her three-day, £130,000 celebration earlier this month.

She said: “The dogs were definitely the deciding factor for the venue. They have always played a vital role in my life.

“I wouldn’t have got married any place where I couldn’t have them with me. It ended up being the perfect day. It was even more overwhelming when I watched the dogs being carried down the aisle.”

She will be hoping her marriage lasts longer than that of her much-loved Lola.

In April 2011 Louise splashed out an incredible £20,000 for Lola’s “wedding” to Mugly, holder of the title world’s ugliest dog.

But the union ended in “divorce” a year later because they rarely saw each other.

Drowning leaves girl brain dead after instructor throws her in pool

(Google pic)
An 8-year-old girl is brain dead and fighting for her life after her instructor threw her into a pool where she was left drowning during a swimming lesson on Friday in Chongqing, Sichuan Province.

The girl identified as Moumou was reluctant to go in the water, and after she refused, the instructor forced her in by physically heaving her into the pool.

But neither the instructor or the on-duty lifeguards took any action as the girl struggled in the water for several minutes, according to Sina Weibo user Ma, who claimed to be a witness at the pool that day.

Ma said that he had assumed the girl was safe, given that she was surrounded by her instructor and the fitness club pool's lifeguards.

Other Web users, who also said that they were at the pool that day, posted similar accounts, saying that the girl appeared to be in serious condition by the time she was finally pulled out of the water.

The hospital where the girl was taken for treatment said that she suffered major brain damage and organ failure from the drowning incident and her chance of survival is very low.

The case remains under investigation, according to an employee of the fitness club, who refused to provide further details.

Junior high teacher arrested twice for vandalizing and burglarizing own school

vandalism everywhere...anyone will do
TOKYO —Being a teacher is tough. In a sincere effort to mold young minds, many educators have to endure strict regulations, tight budgets, and the unreasonable demands of monster parents. It’s too much for some to handle, as we can see in the case of Yusei Yoshikawa, the 26-year-old teacher who has recently been racking up an arrest per month for vandalizing and robbing his own school.

According to Aichi Prefectural Police, from the night of July 1 to early morning the next day, Yoshikawa allegedly broke into Obuminami Junior High School where he taught. Once inside, he scrawled his height, weight, and hobby on the windows. He is also said to have stolen some lights from their fixtures.

This is the second time Yoshikawa was arrested. On June 6, he was charged with vandalism after reportedly breaking and entering the same school and writing the names of Japan’s National Soccer Team members in permanent ink.

Patrols of the Obuminami Junior High were heightened by that time which led to Yoshikawa’s first arrest. This increased security was due to an incident that occurred on May 8 where all the faucets on the third floor were turned on, flooding the school. Some equipment such as computers were stolen as well. No arrests were made in the incident.

According to Tomo News, Yoshikawa had been on a leave of absence “due to illness” since January of this year.

Man builds fully-functional Boeing 737 flight simulator in his son’s bedroom

An aeroplane enthusiast has taken his obsession a step further than most after using his son’s bedroom to build a Boeing 737 flight simulator that exactly mimics the real thing.

Laurent Aigon, 40, from Lacanau in France, has spent the last five years collecting and buying components from around the world in order to put together his simulator with best friend and fellow enthusiast (obviously) Jean-Paul Dupuy.

The pair have spent thousands of euros on internet orders for bits and pieces to construct the simulator – which is so realistic that the Institute of Aircraft Maintenance at Bordeaux-Merignac Airport asked him to give a lecture on his achievement.

Mr Aigon has since schooled himself in all the procedures for take off and landing and says he is able to fly his ‘plane’ just like a real-life pilot.

He also has interest from a couple of major aircraft manufacturers who want to use his creation to simulate various scenarios.
It is unclear what Mr Aigon’s son – who sleeps in a bunkbed crammed into the corner to make enough space for the simulator – thinks of his dad’s favourite toy (and the prospect of having engineers lining up outside his room).

USC Student: Police Said I Wasn't Raped Because He Didn't Orgasm

University of South California
The University of Southern California is facing a federal investigation for alleged failures by school officials and campus police to prosecute rape.

In response to a Title IX complaint filed in May, the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights launched the inquiry on June 26, although complainants only received notice over the weekend that the investigation had begun. A group of 13 students, along with several other unnamed students, claim they suffered from extensive failures on the part of USC administrators and the Department of Public Safety in responding to reports of sexual violence on campus.

OCR program manager Charles R. Love confirmed in a letter to USC student Tucker Reed, obtained by The Huffington Post, that the agency is investigating allegations the university failed to prosecute and adjudicate claims of sexual violence and to respond promptly to complaints of harassment on campus. Such failures would be violations of Title IX, a federal gender equality law.

Jody Shipper, USC Title IX coordinator and executive director of the Office of Equity and Diversity, said the university "remains vigilant in addressing any issues promptly and fully as they arise," and has been reviewing its policies to ensure they comply with federal law.

"We look forward to working with OCR to address any concerns and review our protocols as needed," Shipper said.

Reed, the lead complainant, said USC dismissed her claim that her ex-boyfriend had raped her, despite her providing audio recordings of him admitting to it. At one point, Reed said, a USC official told her the goal was to offer an "educative" process, not to "punish" the assailant.

"The problems are rampant within every department, pretty much every service on campus," Reed told HuffPost, adding, "There is an overwhelming disregard for women and students going through obvious trauma, and they traumatized them further."

One student involved in the USC complaint, who asked to remain anonymous, said a DPS detective told her the campus police determined that no rape occurred in her case because her alleged assailant did not orgasm, and that therefore they had decided not to refer the case to the Los Angeles Police Department.

"Because he stopped, it was not rape," she was told, according to the complaint. "Even though his penis penetrated your vagina, because he stopped, it was not a crime."

A student judicial affairs official cited a similar reason to that student for dismissing the case, meaning that her alleged assailant would not face any court proceeding.

When another student went to the DPS to report a sexual assault at a fraternity event, according to the complaint, an officer told her and a friend, also a sexual assault survivor who had accompanied her, that women should not "go out, get drunk and expect not to get raped."

The complaint claims that when students were found guilty of sexual assault, some were given light punishments, including a formal letter to stay away from the victim, and were allowed to graduate from the university.

Love, of the OCR, wrote that the office had dismissed some aspects of the complaint because students had not provided enough information, because the agency does not have jurisdiction for the allegation, or because the incident occurred more than 180 days prior to filing the complaint, surpassing the agency's time limit.

OCR is currently engaged in similar investigations at Occidental College in Los Angeles, Swarthmore College near Philadelphia, the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and the University of Colorado at Boulder.

USC student Alexa Schwartz said filing the complaint hadn't been easy, but she's hopeful a federal review may result in improvements at the university.

"Now the ball is in USC's court," Schwartz said. "Their response will determine whether all this effort has paid off."

The complainants' goal for the investigation is less about punishing the private university, said Francesca Bessey, who is part of that group, than about ensuring college students around the country get a better response from their schools in the future.

"For me," Bessey said, "the technical outcome of the investigation is much less important than the consciousness I want it to inspire among decision makers at colleges and universities nationwide."

(Photos Inside) Can a Man Poke the Baby in the Head During Sex With His Pregnant Partner?

A list of myths associated with pregnancy is nearly as long as the actual gestation of a baby. That is, assuming we change the metric by which we measure "length" from inches or feet... to "months."

Anyway, some of the most popular pregnancy myths are: cocoa butter prevents stretch marks -- it does not; don't dye your hair -- you can; don't fly -- feel free to; don't date Gary Busey -- actually, you probably shouldn't date Gary Busey while you're pregnant, and don't pet your cat. This is not a euphemism. You can pet your feline friend all you want during pregnancy. Although, it's a good idea to stay away from the litter box for fear of toxoplasmosis (a parasitic disease found in the cat's poop.)

Now, the one thing each of these myths has in common is that they relate to the pregnant woman. However, women aren't the only ones grappling with junk science, hyperbole and misinformation during pregnancy. Men are, too. The difference being that the list of myths men fear is precisely one item long.

The one and only thing men fear during pregnancy is that during sex, they will poke the baby in the head with their penis. Amazing, right? At a time when a couple's life is uniquely and specifically focused on the needs of the woman, men find a way to make it about how big their penis is.

So, what's the truth? Is it possible for a man to poke the baby in the head with the tip of his penis while he's having sex with his partner or wife? Before we tell you if the answer is "this" or "that" -- "yes" or "no," first, a brief anatomy lesson.

The growing baby is floating inside a sac of amniotic fluid which is floating inside the amniotic sac inside the uterus. The uterus is protected by the cervix, a rigid barrier to the vagina which slowly opens over the course of the pregnancy. The birth canal is 3 to 7 inches in length, depending on the woman's state of arousal.

The ultra sound picture above is of an actual penis inside a woman who is six months pregnant. The white colored area above the penis is the cervix. Beyond that is the uterus, amniotic sac and baby. As you can see, the direction of the penis is down. During sex, the penis fits in a space underneath the cervix and uterus.

So, what's the answer? Can you poke the baby in the head during sex with the tip of the penis? No. It's not possible, because the baby is protected behind the rigid cervix, uterus, and amniotic fluid.

HOWEVER...

It is possible to "jostle" the baby.

Wait. What?

Yup. It's possible for a man, regardless of his penis' length, to gently jostle the baby.

However... It's no more of a jostle than the baby would experience if the pregnant woman were to run up a set of stairs or to exercise. As you can see from the photo, it's quite possible for the shaft of the penis to "brush up against" the cervix, which could, in turn, "jostle" the contents of the amniotic sac... and thus, "jostle" the growing baby.

Confident delivery man boasts Brooklyn’s smallest penis

Nicholas Gilronan, 27, has proudly won the title of Brooklyn's smallest penis. But don't worry, ladies, he's a grower.

"I'm hoping this will look brave to guys who have self-esteem issues and make them feel better about themselves," said Gilronan, a.k.a. "The Delivery Man," a UPS worker from Queens, reports the New York Post.

The size of of the winner's wiener was not disclosed in media reports.

But the Kings County Bar event was more beauty pageant than Guinness record contest as contenders donned tuxedo banana hammocks for the evening-wear competition and Speedos for the for swimwear portion of the evening.

There was even a talent contest, in which Gilronan did self-deprecating standup.

But he's got no problems with self-esteem. In a post-victory interview with Gothamist, The Delivery Man said: "Probably the most fun I have with my penis is that I'm a grower, not a shower, and when I'm with women I love seeing their reactions as it grows to double its flaccid size."

(VIDEO INSIDE) Drumming grandma surprises shop staff with epic solo

A video has emerged of a mysterious elderly lady dazzling staff at a drum shop with an unexpectedly brilliant solo on one of their kits.
Staff at the Coalition Drum Shop in Wisconsin, US, say the OAP with the Keith Moon skills completely surprised them.

‘We have no idea where this lady came from, what her name is, or where she went but she rocked our faces off!,’ the shop’s YouTube page reads.

Of course, there’s always the chance this is a cunning bit of viral marketing on the shop’s part, but when it’s this fun and heart-warming, you’ll hear no complaints from us.

(PHOTOS INSIDE) Skinny Dipping World Record Set By 729 Nude Swimmers

Beachgoers in Vera, Spain, may have caught an eyeful on Sunday as a large group of exhibitionists went for a swimsuit-free dip in the Mediterranean Sea in a bid to break the skinny dipping world record.

The 729 nude swimmers were apparently successful, surpassing the previous world record set by 506 festivalgoers in New Zealand last year, local news sources report.

According to the Europa Press, about 600 people were expected at the event. Vera Mayor José Carmelo Jorge was pleased with the turnout, calling the mass nude swim a "tremendous success."

Organized by the town of Vera and the Spanish Naturism Federation, the swimmers showed up to Playa El Playazo beach in throngs Sunday morning before disrobing and taking a collective dip in the Mediterranean around noon. Though funds raised during the event will be donated to charity, the record-breaking attempt was meant to bolster tourism in the small resort town of Vera, which is home to several naturist beaches and residential zones.

While the 506 swimmers in New Zealand are believed to hold the skinny dipping world record, Guinness World Records confirmed to The Huffington Post that the current record for "largest skinny dipping (swimming naked)" at one venue was set by 413 people in South Wales, U.K., in June 2011.

Another group of naked swimmers sought to break the world record in New Zealand in December. However, since the crowd was split between two beaches, the attempt did not qualify under Guinness' rules.

Woman Tries To Run Over Ex-Boyfriend, Crashes Into Tree

Strike tree, she's out!
Veronica Doctor

Police say Veronica Doctor, 45, was attempting to run over her ex-boyfriend with her car -- but she crashed into a tree instead, the Miami Herald reported.

The Hollywood, Fla. woman drove to the home of her ex, 24-year-old Eliezer Alce, at around 2 a.m. Tuesday morning. Alce refused to come outside until he noticed Doctor was driving around in circles on his lawn.

The two got into an argument over Doctor allegedly driving drunk, according to WINK News. Alce told deputies that when he tried to walk away, his ex pursued him in her car and crashed into a tree as he jumped out of the way.

Police and emergency responders got to the house 15 minutes later, CBS Tampa reported. Medics say that Doctor was drunk, with a BAC of .259.

She is charged with aggravated assault and driving under the influence.

(4 Photos) Passenger in car crash pictured with head trapped in windscreen in miracle escape

A passenger miraculously survived a horrific car crash despite her head smashing through the windscreen.

The car crashed into the back of a lorry and the woman - who wasn't wearing a seatbelt - was propelled forwards.

Her head broke through the glass and she became trapped in the accident in Guizhou in southern China.

Firefighters first removed the unconscious male driver before carefully enlarging the hole around the woman's neck so she could be pulled free.

Amazingly, according to doctors, both the passenger and driver are out of danger and recovering in hospital.

Widow charged with murder after missing husband found buried in front yard

Neola Robinson
A 62-year-old woman has been charged with murder after the body of her missing husband was found buried in her front yard.

Ervin Robinson was 57 when he disappeared from his home in Tarrant County, Texas, three years ago.

His wife Neola was arrested on Saturday after Texas Rangers made the grim discovery at the couple's mobile home in Pelican Bay following a tip-off.

She is currently being held on $150,000 bail at Tarrant County Jail.

She has also been placed on suicide watch and is awaiting a full mental health evaluation.

Neighbour Carolann Wheless spoke of her shock after police surrounded the home in Partridge Court, where she regularly walks past with her three-year-old son.

She told nbcdfw.com: "In the front yard of all places - I mean, how do you get away with something like that?"

Ervin Robinson vanished in May 2010 and was reported missing by his boss, Michael Wright, when he failed to turn up for work for two weeks.

Mr Wright said Mr Robinson, a supervisor at TJ Machine and Tool, was a valuable employee.

"All along, there was hope that maybe he did leave town, but it's hard for [his family] to accept the reality of what has actually happened here," Wright said.

Public records show Neola Robinson had several arrests, including burglary, theft and driving without insurance.

She is also shown to have had eight other surnames.

Jobless UK man tries to sell himself on eBay...no bids yet?

Jobless trying to sell himself on ebay
A British man desperate for work tried to sell himself on eBay for about $1.50 but received no bids.

"Some wear to moving parts, surface finish worn," is how the seller, identified by the Daily Mail as Steve Sewell of Cumbria, northern England, described himself in his listing.

Along with a diploma in electrical and electronic engineering, he is a qualified IT technician and has worked as a mechanic, the ad says. He also has "excellent interpersonal skills, infinite patience and an indestructible sense of humour."

The unemployed 58-year-old in "used" condition urged employers to "grab this bargain."

Sewell offered "reliability, experience and loyalty for a reasonable wage," all for a starting bid of 99 pence (about $1.50).

But the posting closed Monday afternoon with no takers.

Naked women form the shape of a Fiat car model

A car is often called "she," so perhaps Fiat figured why not have one made of females?
Part of the naked women Fiat ad creation
Painted naked women form the shape of a Fiat 500 Abarth Cabrio in a new ad that appeared in the recent "Body Issue" of ESPN The Magazine.

Fiat posted behind-the-scenes video on YouTube that answers the big question: Just how did a dozen female contortionists and acrobats do it? The segment has collected hundreds of thousands of hits since it was posted July 8. (Apparently, women and cars tend to draw a crowd.)

AdWeek points out that other advertisers have taken a similar approach. The trade publication added that implying that a cool auto will net the buyer beautiful naked women isn't new either.

"At least they did it with far more style and art than slapping a woman on there like a hood ornament," AdWeek wrote.

The models, Fiat honchos and creatives from the Richards Group ad agency emphasized in the video that what you see is what you get. No visual sleight of hand.

Good to know.

Police bust sex home-delivery service using overweight women

Pic from Google Images
TOKYO —Japanese police have arrested the alleged ringleader of a sex home-delivery service specialising in women weighing up to 150 kilograms, a spokesman said.

Keiko Saito, 41, and one of her employees are suspected of conspiring to run a prostitution business under the name “Makkusu Bodi” (Max Body), which boasted that it catered for men who like “explosive boobs and bums”, police said.

Saito is alleged to have had about 30 overweight women working for her, including one who tipped the scales at more than 150 kilograms, Jiji Press reported.

Police say punters in Tokyo could telephone to request a visit in their home or hotel room, a service called “deri-heru” (delivery health) that is widespread in Japan, where it is illegal to sell penetrative sex.

Saito, who is believed to have earned about 400 million yen over three years, had previously worked as a prostitute, Jiji said. She began her business because she believed larger women were popular with customers, the agency added.

Man holds back vomit during party, ruptures esophagus

Pic from Google... :)
A Nanjing man was recently hospitalized with a ruptured esophagus after he prevented himself from vomiting during a party with friends, the Modern Express reported on July 18.

The 30-something man underwent emergency surgery at Nanjing’s Jiangsu Province Hospital, where doctors found the contents of his stomach had come in contact with other organs, a condition that can cause the body to go into shock.

The man was rushed to the hospital when he began to experience a sharp pain in his stomach after drinking only two bottles of beer at a friend's party. He later explained he resisted the urge to vomit out of embarrassment.

"The patient has a very low tolerance for alcohol and used his glottis, or vocal cords, to suppress his vomit, causing high pressure in his esophagus," said Zhang Bin, deputy director of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery at the hospital.

"He now has to be very careful when eating," said Zhang, who reminded the man to avoid drinking and eating too much.

World's oldest mum giving birth at 70

Rajo Devi Lohan hit the headlines in 2008 when she gave birth to daughter Naveen following controversial IVF treatment.

The world's oldest mum has hit back at critics who blasted her for giving birth aged 70 - claiming it has actually helped her live LONGER.

Rajo Devi Lohan hit the headlines in 2008 when she gave birth to daughter Naveen following controversial IVF treatment.

Now 74, Rajo, who nearly died as a result of complications following her pregnancy, has vowed to live long enough to see her five-year-old girl marry.

"The only reason I am still alive in spite of my illness is Naveen," she said.

"She is a gift to me from God and until I get her married I cannot afford to die. I will get her married when she turns 15-years-old, but until then I simply cannot die.”

Rajo, who lives with Naveen in the remote village of Hissar, India, her husband Ballo and his second, younger wife Umi, was so desperate to have a child she took out loans to pay for the £2,000 IVF treatment.

When the baby was born, many questioned whether it was morally right for a pensioner to have children, while also suggesting it is detrimental to the health of an OAP.

And their doubts appeared to be justified when Rajo fell gravely ill, almost dying from post-birth complications related to her IVF treatment.

But after battling back, Rajo has even outlived her doctor who guided her through the process, and she puts it all down to having something to live for - daughter Naveen.

Rajo said: "When Naveen was born the Doctor had asked me to take complete bed rest but I did not listen to him and that?s why my health got so bad.

"I am not used to resting and that?s why I could not help myself but work even after she was born. For me work is what I have done all my life.

"But I am feeling much better now. The doctor took very good care of me, but unfortunately he has since died. He spent a lot of money on my medical expenditure, to help me get a child.

"When I used to look around and see children, my heart felt sad that I couldn't have one - I desperately wanted to have a child of my own.

"Every one celebrated when she was born. The villagers were very happy and every one came to see her."

Despite entering her twighlight years, Rajo isn't worried about Naveen's future when she dies, adding: "Naveen does not need to worry about her future, she has her other mother, Umi, her uncles, relatives and father to look after her.

"As Naveen is the my only child she will inherit all my property which includes 566,280 sq ft of land. Her future will be secure."

Naveen's step-mum Umi, who is Rajo's sister and married Ballo when he thought Rajo was unable to bear him a child, added: "Naveen is very dear to me, I can?t have her away from me for long.

"If she asks me later in life about her mother, I will tell her that she became sick after her birth and that that sickness took her away from us.

"I will make sure that after her mother passes away, she will not miss out on that love and affection Rajo provides her. Rajo is still the one who prepares her for the school in the morning - Naveen does not let me do it, she insists her mother will do it. She is very proud of Rajo and loves her dearly."

Energetic Naveen, who has begun attending the local village primary school, has grown fond of her mum - despite her evident struggle to keep up at times.

Naveen said: "I love my mother very much. I also love my father but I love my mother more than him."

Scientists use human urine to charge mobile

Human urine has been used to charge a mobile phone in a major breakthrough for researchers.
Will you charge your phone with your urine?
Just half a litre of waste generated enough power to make a six-minute phone call and to send several text messages.

If the technology can be developed further, it might have grander implications for providing electricity to remote communities in the developing world.

Researcher Dr Ioannis Ieropoulos said: ‘Using the ultimate waste product as a source of power to produce electricity is about as eco as it gets. One product that we can be sure of an unending supply is our own urine.’

The technology relies on passing urine through fuel cells made of microbes. As they feed off the urine, they produce electricity – in this case, enough to charge the battery of a basic Samsung phone.

Dr Ieropoulos and his team, from the University of the West of England, said it was the first time urine had been used directly to power a commercially available battery.

However, Prof Will Stewart, of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, told Metro there were already other renewable means of powering electronic devices which were very practical to use in developing countries.

He added: ‘A solar panel the size of a paperback book will charge a phone within two or three hours.’

PayPal accidentally gives man $92 quadrillion

$92quadrillian is a lot of money. It’s 97,000 times the UK’s national debt, its 92 and 15 zeros, it’s 92,000,000,000,000,000. It’s lot of money.
Paypal make mistake again...big big big mistake
So when PayPal gave a man from Pennsylvania $92,000,000,000,000,000 you can imagine his (and their) reaction.

With that amount of money he would have been richer than Bill Gates, Michael Bloomberg and Larry Page combined. He could have literally bought everything in the world ever and lived off the interest for an eternity.

Sadly it wasn’t to be, what PayPal giveth, PayPal taketh away. Moments later the computer error was fixed and Christopher Reynolds was a lowly PR executive again.

Speaking to CNN, Mr Reynolds said ‘It’s a curious thing; I don’t know maybe someone was having fun.’

PayPal admitted: ‘This is obviously an error and we appreciate that Mr Reynolds understood that this was the case.’

Childhood sweethearts to marry after 70 years apart...WWII romance?

It’s taken 70 years and a round-the-world trip but a couple separated as teenagers are finally to have their happy-ever-after.
Bob Humphries and Bernie Bluett

Childhood sweethearts Bob Humphries, 89, and Bernie Bluett, 87, lost touch during World War II when her disapproving parents failed to pass on his letters.

He was 18 at the time and she was 17.

They went on to marry other people and Ms Bluett moved to New Zealand.

But the pair were reunited in 2011 thanks to Ms Bluett’s daughter and are due to tie the knot in Pawlett, near Bridgwater, Somerset, on Saturday.

Mr Humphries said Mrs Bluett had left an impression on him when they first met all those years ago.

He said: ‘When circumstances brought us closer together we finally got married after all these years. It has been quite stressful but I am looking forward to it.’

Mrs Bluett added: ‘When I saw him again I didn’t see an old man – I saw that young soldier. We both feel young at heart.’

4 Reasons why having more sex can make you look younger and hotter

When we complain to our dermatologists about having dull complexions or suffering from adult acne, the last thing we expect them to prescribe is sex. But it turns out getting "busy" has benefits beyond the bedroom (or wherever you choose to get it in).
having sex is good for your skin too..
Dr. David Weeks, a British consultant clinical psychologist and former head of old age psychology at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, made us blush with his research that claims regular sex can make you look younger. In a new study, Dr. Weeks found that older men and women with an active sex life appeared five to seven years younger than their actual age.

Curious as to whether Dr. Weeks has truly uncovered "the fountain of youth," we asked a few experts to explain exactly how having more sex is good for our skin.

1. It releases anti-inflammatory molecules.
Dr. Amy Wechsler, who takes a whole-body approach to dermatology, credits sex for its skin-healing abilities. "We're constantly damaging and repairing our skin, and you want to tip the scale more towards repair," said Dr. Wechsler.

She explained, "When you have sex, you're bathing the skin in anti-inflammatory molecules such as oxytocin and beta endorphins. As we get older, we don't heal as often as we repair. But having sex can turn the clock back on that."

2. It makes your skin physically glow.
Sexual intercourse also boosts our immune system, prevents stagnation, allows us to feel more alive and sweat out toxins from our pores, according to Amy Levine, sex coach and founder of Ignite Your Pleasure.

"This translates to our skin's radiance and being more at ease with facial expression (as we use our facial muscles to express ourselves during a sexual encounter). Ultimately, giving a post-sex glow and possibly helping to ward off wrinkles," said Levine.

Sweating is sure to impart a dewy glow, however Dr. Wechsler said that it is an increase in circulation that triggers the flush. Besides sex, there is only one other activity that releases the anti-aging hormone oxytocin, and that is childbirth.

3. It prevents dry skin.
Another beauty benefit of having regular sex is that it increases estrogen levels, which stave off dryness and improve skin elasticity. But Dr. Wechsler still believes strongly in using a good daily moisturizer.

4. It clears an acne breakout.
Individuals who have more sex have even been proven to sleep better, and we all know how a good night's rest is connected to skincare. "Breakouts occur more when people are stressed or sleep deprived," said Dr. Wechsler. "And I think when you boost those anti-inflammatory molecules by having sex, it is certainly helps treat acne."

As a sex coach, Levine believes "the more, the better." But you don't need to "follow a prescription to figure out what's best for you," she said.

Sexologist Dr. Jill McDevitt echoes this belief, saying "I think people should be having as much sex as they like, but not because it will make them looking young, specifically. When people make a decision to have sex, they don't say, 'I really want to boost my immune system and increase my immunoglobulin A antibodies' or 'I want to increase the elasticity of the skin on my face, so let's have sex.' People have sex because it feels good, they enjoy it, they like feeling close to someone, they're bored and lonely."

Two to three times a week is the number of times Dr. Wechsler suggests having sex to stay looking young, as doing it every day may not be realistic. She also recommends masturbation because let's face it, not everyone is in a relationship or hooking up. This sexually stimulating act may not release as many endorphins in comparison to doing the "do," but it's helpful.

Will you ditch your anti-aging creams and serums for more sex?

IndyCar driver smashes trophy...on the podium?

poor trophy..
RACING driver Sebastien Bourdais won a glass trophy for finishing second at an IndyCar race in Toronto.

So far so good.

Then, as he was presented with the prize, he went to lift it up, thinking it was securely attached to its base.

Bad move.

The glass bowl toppled off the plinth, rolled across the winners' podium and smashed.

Hopefully Bourdais, who hasn't won much recently, will get another one.

The organisers should have known, though.

Glass trophies have a habit of getting destroyed by errant sports people.

In 2012, the crystal football Alabama won for beating Lousiana State University in the BCS championship game  was shattered when it was accidentally knocked off a display by the father of a current player.

It's not only glass trophies, either.

In 2011, Real Madrid were celebrating their King's Cup win with a bus parade through the streets of the Spanish capital when Sergio Ramos dropped the cup under the bus and it was destroyed.

Man's penis bitten by a snake...in a toilet?

Snake in the toilet...wtf?
A MAN was rushed to a hospital after a snake bit his penis while he was relieving himself in a toilet, according to hospital officials in Israel.

The man, 35, of northern Israel was bitten on Friday after the snake suddenly appeared from inside the toilet.

The man suffered minor injuries from the bite; fortunately the snake was not venomous.

Rescue workers responded to the scene and took the man to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, where he received medical treatment, reports Your Jewish News.

An examination revealed the snake was not poisonous.

The man told emergency workers it happened after he went to the toilet to relieve himself and suddenly felt a strong burning sensation in his penis.

One of the paramedics said the man told him he has seen the snake and it was very small.

According to the paramedic, despite the location of the injury, the man managed to stay calm and even had a laugh with workers at his own expense.

'This is the first time I've seen a snake bite like this,' the paramedic said.

'Luckily, all tests seem fine and the man is feeling well,' the paramedic added.

'There will undoubtedly be bite marks on the area in question,' the hospital said.

'The snake was not poisonous. The man is currently under observation pending additional test results and as soon as we get the results, he will be able to go home,' the hospital said.

The man was lucky the snake was not venomous since there are many deadly species commonly found in Israel. Snakes are very territorial and will strike out to protect their space, be it a rocky crevice or a domestic toilet.

It is 'snake season' currently in the Middle East and among the most dangerous are the black snake or desert cobra, the horned desert viper, the Palestinian viper which is the most common poisonous snake in Israel, the saw-scaled viper, or the false horned viper.

To prevent meeting a snake in the home, it is recommended to keep the house clear of rats, mice and other snake prey, fix leaky taps (snakes are drawn to water), and try to minimise plants and maximise grass in the garden since plants provide the perfect cover for snakes.

Fix windows on the house and windscreens on cars, to avoid any unwelcome surprises.

Keeping a cat is also a great way to scare off snakes since they are one of their biggest enemies
